Venice ranked 75th in the nation beat Tampa Prep in 3 straight games tonight in the first match (25-13, 25-18, 25-10).  Venice went on to beat Buchholz in 4 games (23-25, 25-16, 25-13, 25-15).  Venice finishes pool play tomorrow at 9:40 against Mercy ranked 50th in the nation before continuing on in Gold Bracket in the afternoon as either the number 1 or 2 seed from Pool B.

Mercy also won both their matches tonight against Tampa prep and Buchholz.  Tomorrow's game between Venice and Mercy will decide the winner of Pool B.

In Pool A Berkeley Prep ranked 24th in the nation and Leon also won both their games.

Tomorrow afternoon in the Gold Bracket will be: Berkeley Prep, Leon, Mercy and Venice.
