Latest Venice Volleyball

Venice placed three teams among the top 10 and six overall in the Florida High School Athletic Association’s 2009-10 Fall Sports Academic Team Champion Awards Program.

Congratulations to Venice Volleyball - #1

The Indians volleyball team, which reached the Class 5A State semifinals, finished first in Class 5A among the volleyball teams with a 3.724 grade-point average.

The Venice girls cross country team was eighth in its class with a 3.692 GPA and the Indians boys swimming team finished ninth with a 3.152 GPA.

Other Venice teams with a better than 3.0 GPA were the boys cross country team (3.068), boys golf team (3.022) and girls swimming team (3.082).
